Tuning Recommendation For best results, we recommend using 50-state legal Edge or SCT tuning. Proper tuning helps maximize performance while maintaining reliability. Lead Time & Fitment Notes Powder-coated covers may take up to 3 weeks before shipping Polished covers may take 1–2 weeks This turbo uses the 2004–2007 mounting style On 2003 trucks, the third rear mounting bracket must be removed for proper fitment Exhaust Brake Compatibility These turbos can retain OEM exhaust brake functionality when the vehicle calibration allows it. However, some aftermarket exhaust brakes may restrict exhaust flow. Because flapper-style systems create excessive backpressure, we do not recommend using them with this turbo.
