Description Stage 3 Camshaft 6.4L Powerstroke Diesel The Stage 3 Camshaft for the 6.4L Powerstroke Diesel targets high-performance enthusiasts who want both power and reliability. After gathering extensive customer feedback and conducting real-world tests, we designed this street-able cam to excel in compound turbo, big single turbo, and nitrous setups. We offer it in two sizes to fit applications ranging from 600 to over 1000 horsepower. This camshaft uses innovative lobe separation angles to reduce cylinder and back pressure, especially in compound turbo applications. This design relieves main bearing stress that often troubles high-power builds. Its smooth ramp rate protects the valvetrain, making it ideal for both street and full-race use. The cam features 188°/205° duration at .050″, valve lifts of 0.371″ intake and 0.379″ exhaust, and a 112° lobe separation angle. You must use pistons with at least a .050″ deep fly cut, and ensure valve recesses stay between .022 and .024 inches. Piston protrusion must not exceed .032 inches for a proper fit. We machine this camshaft entirely from new material without any re-grinds or welding to guarantee durability. For best results, use premium 100 lb or 120 lb valve springs and billet pushrods. Note that the drive gear does not come with the camshaft—you will need to press your existing gear on and off. With this cam, your engine will roar strongly past 4500 RPM, delivering the robust performance your build demands.
